Zander's 7th birthday

Zander chose WAFFLES with LOTS of whipped cream for his birthday breakfast.

The girls and I went to the school to have lunch with him. At his school, if your parent comes to have lunch with you, you get to eat outside, AND invite a few friends to join you. It's a pretty big deal.

I asked him what he wanted for lunch, and he told me he wanted a LOT of chicken nuggets. So I got the 20 count from McDonalds. He ate about 15 of them. The girls ate the rest. He was very proud.

For his party this year, he asked if we could go camping. We invited a friend, but he wsan't able to come, so it was just family this time. Gran and Papa, Aunt Jewlee, Uncle Sean, and cousins Ashlee and Drake. It was lots of fun - even with a 6 week old baby!

It was a little cold

But the kids had fun riding bikes

And playing hide-and-go-seek

And sometimes both

The fire was warm

The baby was good

And fun was had by all

Camping breakfast is always great

Especially when it's followed by a hike through the woods

The birthday boy didn't want cake. Just ice cream. Not exactly easy when you're camping, but Gran & Papa have a freezer in thier motor home, so we made it work.

Lots and lots of presents

Pinkalicious Girl's Night

The "boy's" went to the Father's and Son's campout, so we had a girls night. We had been reading the book Pinklicious A LOT, so when I asked the girls what they wanted to do, they said they wanted to make some pink cupcakes.

So that's what we did.

But we didn't turn pink.

And here's a few fun pictures - just because

Alizabeth with a flower as big as her head

Ainzlee being silly

And princess Adalen

Karate

Zander's Spring Karate awards were a little extra special. Brandon's cousin, Daniel, just happened to be in town that day, and came over to visit. So we had one more voice cheering him on.

He earned the rank of Blue Belt with White Stripe! Which means that he'll be able to compete in tournaments! Awesome! Way to go!

Yoga

After having the baby, I wanted to try to get in shape a little bit. So I started using our Wii Fit - trying to put in 30 minutes of excersise a day. Not easy with 4 kids around.
The girls thought it was great fun. Ady really liked Yoga. She had to try it - and she's pretty good at it!

ATS Awards 2011

So proud of my boy! He worked hard and made it to Principal's Honor Roll for First Grade! Way to go!
We got to go to the awards ceremony. A pretty big deal

He got to go up on stage and get a trophy

And pose with his teacher.

I'm pretty proud of my boy!

Easter 2011

The Easter Bunny came to our house this year.

And hid some eggs

And some cute new church clothes

We dyed eggs with koolaid! (ooo aah)

More new baby pics

The first few weeks of Alizabeth's life, the doctors were pretty concerned about her weight. She wasn't gaining much at all! We were trying to get her to eat as much as possible. I finally got her to breast feed, so after she'd eat her fill, we'd try to give her a bottle too - just to fatten her up!
Just a few more pictures of tiny Alizabeth

Here she is at only four weeks old - rolling over! I think it's because she was so small, it didn't take much effort.
